I took this photo of todays x-rays of Little Randi (my new knee). The photo on the left hand side is a front view, and the right hand side is a side view. Notice the horizontal near the bottom of the knee. That is the old screw That was pu t in my original knee when I had surgery at age 19. Dr. Jove was not able to remove it because it was so deeply embedded in my leg after so many years. I was told my swelling would probably last longer because of my ancestry. We tend to swell more than some people. Oh well, I guess I will have to deal with it. My physical therapy went well today. I am one day closer I hope to getting rid of this cane. That is my next goal ... - feeling determined .
