I took up #10bookschallenge as per Ganapathis request :D :D.Here is my top 10 off the top of my head 1.To kill a mockingbird - You get to see the world from uncorrupted, untutored eyes of a 6 year old girl. The movie is equally amazing. 2.Pride and prejudice - Classic amongst classics.Best of the jewels of Jane Austen 3.Gone with the wind - This book still lingers in my mind years after Ive read it.Thanks Priya akka for letting me read it 4.God of Small things - The words that Arundhati Roy uses to describe the minutest of events! #IWasBlownAway. 5.A suitable boy - The life of a girl in the post independence India.Makes you want to read it again and again 6.Anna Karenina - I seriously long for Russian tour of all the places described in this book.A rather long book by Tolstoy but the snapshot of the book eternally stays with you 7.Tess of the d’Ubervillles - Poignant tale of a woman who lived in the hypocritical Victorian age. 8.The Scarlet Pimpernel - A daring show of bravery in the midst of the blood-thirsty French revolution 9.Jane Eyre - Journey of a free thinking and independent woman who was way better than her circumstances 10.Love story - What an awesome way to end the novel!I was choked with tears.. I urge Sandesh, Lakshmi, Ampaire, Sudhakar,Arathi,Nithya(I know youre busy at the moment, take your time :)),Sasi Kumar to take up the challenge as well!
