I totally disagree with this- North Korea cant even launch a missile-how are they going to coordinate attacks on every movie theater in our country?. We have just crippled our negotiating stance with North Korea over any and ever issue, and we now look like a scared little boy in front of our negotiating partners- esp. China This is a *big mistake* and ridiculous capitulation. Allowing an on-line foreign sponsored security intrusion to stifle free speech in this way, sets a dangerous precedent, and once again makes American look super-weak. The door is now open to all kinds of crazies to see what part of our society they can knock down next by simply taking advantage of security holes in an de-facto imperfect internet. We should not allow the stifling of creative freedom in this way. From Charlie Chaplins The Dictator to Borat never has a studio cancelled a movie that upset an outside interest. (see my first comment below for examples). Where is the Obama administration defending the studios right to make this movie? Why isnt the Obama administration out in front defending our freedoms and warning North Korea over their threat of terrorism on our home soil in order to stifle creative expression? I hope the interview will be come the most purchased/downloaded and watched home movie of all time.
