I truly miss Vietnam. Although I dont feel as if its my home - TopicsExpress

I truly miss Vietnam. Although I dont feel as if its my home anymore, there is a part of me that wants to visit my hometown where I grew up. I miss my little village, my little yellow house with massive land around it. My house has 2 really huge coconut trees at the front, and 2 big jackfruit trees at the back, one little cherimoya tree on the left side and an abundance of papaya and pineapple trees to the right side. Oh how I miss my childhood so much! Playing with cow poo and mud, swimming in the dirty beach water and wandering the desserts in the sunshine. When its new years time I missed seeing all the nicely decorated houses, and I even miss sucking on the chicken bones. It was just weeks after new years and my dog died. I dont know the cause but the way it died was very sad. So instead of sleeping outside like all dogs in vietnam do, that night it snucked into the house and sleeped in the changing room. The next morning we found it dead and pouring with blood scattering all over the floor. Really really sad. Anyways, enough of that. I sincerely miss the people in vietnam, especially ny neighbours, they were so nice. I loved how we were all like one big family. I miss ong tuong, ba tuong, ong quyen, ba quyen, phuoc, le, ong phu, ba luc and their children aswell, bac ba ly and their family and so many more to name ! My imagery of my vietnam is still very vivid inside of me. It will never be forgotten. 14 years have gone by so quick! I really miss my Vietnam!
