I try not to voice my opinion on something that is out of my hands, but today I have to rant. Lately Ive been seeing a lot of posts against gay marriage, so this may sound redundant. As a minority, its a damn shame that people cannot be accepted for something that they cannot change, then to be bashed for only wanting to be treated as an equal. Whats even more pathetic, is that certain individuals who claim to be People of God are the first ones to look down on someone because of the fact that they are gay. I am not gay, so I should not make the assumption on whether its personal choice, or not. But I would go with my better judgement, and believe that it is something that an individual cannot change. Im embarrassed to say that some people I considered friends fall into the category of the non-accepting.I guess At the end of the day, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but it seems that being a close-minded asshole is the new trend. I choose not to associate myself with these people because ; we are in a new I dont apologize for any one that I have offended because I really dont give a damn. I believe that EVERYONE should be granted the same rights whether they be gay, or not. Its funny that we have gone through the same song and dance before with the civil rights era, but folks still cant accept the fact that equality will come to all, eventually. Thats my take; and also to stand up for my friends who cant change who they are. Ive got your back
