I use to totally dislike the look of the spare tire on the back of my rav4 but after yesterday I have time to learn to like it and think about it in a new light. I was sitting at a flashing crosswalk yesterday morning watching an elderly lady with a walker cross the street..I happened to look in ny review mirror and see a car going much to fast and realize he cant stop. I was afraid that he would push me into the lady so I put my foot on the brake and pulled up the ebrake and prepared for impact. I was able to hold the car no one was injured. Thank God.Then I found out the young man who hit me didnt have a drivers license and has epileptic attacks and is not supose to be driving. He was scared and my passenger was feeling sorry for him because he was crying. His father showed up and the car was released to him and the kid went home safely. Before they left I hugged this young man and told him I wasnt mad and that for him it was a good thing he hit me. I figured if I hadnt been there at that time he would have hit the lady. At the end of the day you would think these people would also be thankful. I called their insurance company only to find out that they reported the kids mother as being the driver. Its now 2am I feel like I got hit by a truck. My whole body hurts. Time for motrin and more sleep.Thank you God for another beautiful day. Amen
