I used to have a SERIOUS online shopping addiction.. Im saying my ups driver used to greet me by name. 😳 and I would some days get packages in from ups, fed ex, and the usps all in one day. I made a decision this year that I was done buying things we didnt need and got serious about budgeting and getting my family out of debt. Simplifying the CLUTTER in our lives and trimming the financial fat as I like to call it. So far we have three credit cards paid in full and are paying off the 4th next week- even with me going on 5 trips this year for work 👯👯 One thing that has really helped me, aside from a zero balance budget, is changing my passwords for the most frequently used websites I shop on. I changed them to different variations of a phrase that represents WHY I want to be without debt. That way every time I go to purchase something I have to type in that password that reminds me of why I DONT want to waste money. 80% of the time I decide I dont need what I was about to buy- It has saved me a ton so far and was quick and easy to do. Try it out and let me know if it helps! Ps: make sure you use numbers, AlteRnaTing capiToLs, symbols, $&@( and under_scores to make it super secure. ✅
