I used to hold the band 30 Seconds to Mars as a near guilty pleasure band for me. However, much like Rush, one of my all time favorite bands, they changed their sound with every conceptual album. This new one is incredible. They went from progressive metal, to emo, to alternative rock, and now to inspirational soft rock. Its almost as if Bono himself was in charge of their musical direction. I also love Jared Leto, who takes the reigns with the bands videos, turning them into short films. They went from guilty pleasure to a band that is severely underrated, in my eyes (or to my ears.) Alex Ryan, I think youll appreciate this video a lot, for its U2 likeness, as well as it being about moving to CA.
