I usually dont do this, But I was Riding down Englewood &I saw the Top of Something round like a chair It actually glistened ,The way the sun was shining on it. So I stopped got out my car &Took a look at it. It was a small table. You know one of them real old antique tables. It was chipped & Had them water spots on it...I was thinking to myself Who would throw this Good Table away. I hurried &Grabbed it put it in my trunk! You would of thought I was at pier 1. Lol I had so many ideas running thru my mind. How I was going to shine it up&Where I was going to put it in my house. So I went to true value &,Got me a chipper thingie Lol & primer & Gloss. I went to work! Within 2 Days I had a masterpiece!!! As I was taking my new found treasure to show off to my Daughter. I got a fair. they Got in the car &The first thing they noticed was My Garbage found Table. Admiring it &All saying how they have only seen 1 more like this &Offered me even money. However when I recited my story of how I retrieved my Table. they were silent. But an awkward silence. She says miss ..I say yes she says thats my table. I left it at a Friends house & She Got upset with me &Threw it away. I almost started to feel sorry For her the look on her face she was crushed. Then I asked well how long was it there? She said about 2 Years... Well you didnt notice it from the first time ? She said nooo. I politely turned to her &Said If you cared about what you thought was old &used upp table. You would have never left anything that you thought of value at someone else house for that long. Moral of this story is when you have leave, Abandon or walk away from what you think is of no importance to You anymore. You will have someone with vision who always see the best in ppl places or things. But when this happens Who can you get mad at no one but yourself. #Valuewhatyouhave #Somebodyelsewill #howyoumad #Metaphor........
