I usually hate Facebook. I think a lot of people use it for negative reasons. But... It can also be a very good thing. For the past 3 months I noticed Mias eye glowing in a lot of pictures. I mentioned it to my grandma a few times because I had never seen it before. Neither one of us thought anything of it. A few weeks ago I came across an article on Facebook called know the glow. It was about a mom who posted a picture of her child whos eye was glowing and one of her friends commented on it and told her she needed to see her pediatrician. It was probably nothing but just ask about it. Well the lady did and it turned out her daughter had a rare eye disorder. There are a few causes of the glow. Some minor some major. I mentioned it to Mias doctor yesterday and Im so glad I came across that Facebook article or I never wouldve asked. The doctor gave her a light test and we determined one eye was larger than the other. Shes being sent to childrens for eye tests by an eye doctor. Im not worried. Im thankful that I came across that article and I just wanted to share to educate you on it! So if youre having the same issue with your child please do mention to your doctor! Google know the glow for info on it. Here are some pictures of it.
