I very rarely post anything on Facebook but felt this occasion was worthy. This morning my beautiful wife Jocelyn and I completed our journey in establishing dual (Canada & United States) citizenship. So many steps along the way with 10 years of studying, temporary work permits, green card/permanent resident status , etc... And the culmination being our beautiful girl Olivia being born here and therefore being a US citizen before her folks...lol VERY fortunate to have the support of our Canadian friends and family and equally appreciative of our US friends and family that have made the transition possible. This mornings naturalization ceremony was very special as we were welcomed as new US citizens in Acadia National park in Bar Harbor. Were very fortunate in celebrating our newest chapter in life as we think of Michelle and family at this time hopeful the days ahead are brighter. RIP D.A.
