I want to personally thank each and every one who assisted us at some point over the weekend. Firstly, ALL of our sponsors were fantastic in providing us with the money and product(s) we offered our competitors. Greenhawk Grande Prairie supplied us with 3 coolers, all the Welcome Rider bags, tons of supplies and SO much more. Swartzy Performance Horses rented us the venue and also provided us with exceptional deals on all the Back On Track and Omega-Alpha products. MC Quarter Horses & Tack Supply supplied us with all the White Dressage Saddle Pads, the Open Rider Gift Basket and wonderful support throughout the planning stages. Peace Valley Photography (Me :)) provided the winner of our 4-Bar Challenge with $150 thus a total pay out of $320, a custom Trophy Halter and neck sash as well as our typical STAKES ribbon.. this class was particularily fun and was finished by a clean trip at a maximum height of 46. Mighty Peace Wireless (Fairview) sponsored our 1M Jumper P&S Stakes, and Horsefeathers Esthetics sponsored our 26 Hunter class. Our average stakes paid out around $200. Next, my fantastic committee who stood by me when I wanted to pull my hair out and sit in a corner and cry... you are all awesome. While our little team of only 4 committee members were in WAY over our head and an unfortunate lack of pre-scheduled volunteers, we still managed to be relatively sane at the end of the day despite having almost double the amount of competitors that we initially expected when we began the planning stage. You all did a fantastic job and theres absolutely no way the show would have ran without your support. And lastly, our wonderful competitors. I realize not everything ran smoothly, we did make mistakes which we willingly owned. Thank you for being our test subjects in the first show that we have put on, and we sincerely appreciate everyone who remained tolerable and supportive; asking to provide assistance in any way they could.
