I want to share what an emotional tool I am lol. When Adeleas was murdered and Vandene was left alone with her body to howl, it really got me and I had to put the book down and take it in. After that her storyline was just annoying. If you saw her, it was going to be in her sisters clothes. But then we get here in Knife of Dreams. Not only did I have to put the book down, but I had to reread this first. And then sit back and replay the entire Vandene storyline since Adeleas murder in my head and actually cried a little lol. Yes, I cry when I read. I wasnt expecting such a minor character and just a few lines to hit me like that. Very powerful scene in my opinion. She went there prepared to kill the black sister no matter what or how she had to do it. K commence making fun of me :p hehe
