I want to take a minute to say how proud I am of Dereck Weeks. Last night at church I requested prayer for a close friend of the family Charlie Jenkins. Charlie is battling lung cancer. Dereck has been close to Charlie since he was a baby. In requesting prayer Vicki Holt asked me was Charlie saved. I wasnt sure if he is or not. Dereck and I talked today because I was told Charlie was taken last night by ambulance to hospital very bad off. Dereck told me today that couple weeks ago he asked Charlie was he saved and did he know Jesus if and when its his time to go. He told D he was but it had been a while. Dereck said he asked Charlie If hed pray with him. For D to tell me this just touched my heart. I know none of us are perfect and sin daily but to know that us getting in church may have made a difference in someones life. I am so proud of Dereck and thankful God Chose me as his mother. I just had to share this story.
