I want to take a moment to address the men of this group in regards to the womens rights movement. Many of us as men cant grasp why its so important because its not our rights being taken from us. Many of us Ive seen say its not a big deal or that women are overreacting. For us we can only sympathize and do the best we can to understand it. We have to understand that it takes an emotional toll to have no control over your own body. Here is what I want all of you to think about as you read this. Fathers or if you plan to be a father someday. One day your daughter has to grow up into this world and she will have to face a society that tells her what she can do with her body. Telling her if she wears shorts on a hot day shes dressing like a whore, if she wears a skirt shes asking for it, if she gets pregnant, the father runs out on her and she cant afford it and wont be helped. She has no choice but to keep that child and raise it in poverty. As Jafar from Aladdin said There are things FAR worse than death. I can tell you personally Id rather be dead then leave the way many children are forced to live. We cant truly understand the womans feelings in this fight. So instead think of this as your child in this fight. Someone wants to force your child against their will. Even if you have a son your son might have a baby girl and it will be her fight. We go to war and lie to ourselves saying that we fight now so our children dont have to. They always fight anyway because war will always exist. This is different, this is a social struggle that we will leave behind like segregation and be on the right side of history. We must do this so that we can make sure our baby girls dont have to struggle through this again! Do this #ForOurDaughters
