I want to tell who ever wants to listen about my day today. I was honored to be invited into a tent city. I didnt really know what to expect when the homeless man in the back seat was telling us how to get there. As we drove in I saw what was left of tents that were hardly standing. A man came out then another man came out as we were asking them what they needed. I looked down at the mans feet to see that the pair of shoes he had on appeared to be a few sizes to small and very raggedy clothes. As we took several things from the back of the car and were thanked for everything it was time to go. When we drove away back threw the trees where there homes are tucked away out of site so not to be found I thought how blessed I am to have a nice warm bed to sleep into night and warm food to eat. I am so honored to be trusted enough to be taken were very few people ever are invited. I pray that as the cold weather is coming in that these people find a way to stay warm and not hungry. One of the men told be a man one of his friends died in his arms yesterday so they were all really down about losing a friend.
