I want to thank my friend Hanna for explaining to me the roots of Islam. Hanna is a Lebanese Christian who grew up in Lebanon side by side with Muslims and went to Muslim schools. It is evident that the religion became a splintered religion from the death of Mohammed on creating warring sects that have been fighting for centuries. I basically knew this. But he clearly traced the history and the various strains of followers of the grandsons of Mohammed who formed the Shia vs. his jealous generals who formed the Sunni branch. Then there were others like the Assads who are basically followers of Ali, one of the martred grandsons. They are aligned with the Shias. And I thought the Jews were messed up with our ultra Orthodox maniacs who spit on little girls who just want to go to school. I think we should definitely stay out of any conflicts over there and let them sort their shit out by themselves. What has Obama been drinking? And the rest of our esteemed representatives.
