I wanted to take this opportunity to share a little story about Caroline Kelley Eynon as we approach Thanksgiving and the holidays, in the hopes that we keep her and her girls in our thoughts and prayers. In the 80s I would go up to the Tyler area to visit grandparents and other relatives and friends. One time while I was there I decided to go to a local memorial park cemetery in Tyler to look for a friends gravesite. I called up Caroline and asked her if she wanted to go with and just hang out for awhile. We ended up visiting the cemetery together, and we walked around just looking at all the markers with names and dates on them. She soon found herself walking in the section where young babies are buried. She soon stopped, and stared at the ground at a particular marker. What she did next will stay with me for the rest of my life. She dropped to her knees. And she started praying. She prayed out loud, not only for the babies that were lost, but also for all the parents of them too. She did this, without even knowing that she too would someday in the future experience the same kind of heartbreaking losses several times over. As we give to the Lord our thanks for our own families and friends this year I would like to ask each and every one of you to continue to lift up and embrace Caroline and her family. If you are able as God provides please consider making new & continual contributions to the GoFund account set up for her and her girls. And directly to Caroline, I want to tell you that we all love you very much and we pledge this day and always to be there for you. May God wrap His comforting arms around you, and continue to use all of us to express His everlasting love for you and your family. - Floyd E.
