I warmly congratulate the newly appointed commissioners as well as the MMC caretaker chairman duly sworn in yesterday. Let me cease this opportunity to remind the distinguish appointees that the post, a call to selfless services and incumbent are expected to be beacons of hope to the good people of Borno state. I prayed that, you should be able to galvanize the ministries for greater productivity. You should, above all, appreciate the sacredness of the trust and confidence placed on you as principal advisers to his excellency,the executive Governor of Borno state, the Administrative, the respective ministries the department, accounting officers and agencies. Your appointment is a privilege considering the fact that the number of qualified persons in the appointable list is high. However, the government painstakingly applied all the necessary yardsticks of fairness, geographical spread, equity, personality and other indices to make the choice of these respective appointees. It is definitely a call to duty and services especially as we intend to hit the ground running for the second term to further bring the gains of democracy to the doorsteps of our people. It is our expectation that you will be examplary in your conduct and refrain from all activities and and action that will bring to question ur integrity and loyalty. I encourage you to leave up to expectation and justify the confidence reposed by our amiable Governor and contribute meaningfully to the governance of our dear state.
