I was 14. I asked my dad about Woodstock. Imagine this...1992 No Youtube, no VHS at least not in Guatemala. My dad managed to get me a Tape from Woodstock. He sat with me in the living room and he told me : You have to listen to this It became my mantra. Somehow, I felt connected to that generation. So different and so alike at the same time. I remember the emotions on my dads face when we listened to this together. Today something fun happened to me. A friend called me to buy me lunch and have a time with me. I found another friends at the place and we ate with them, I also made new friends at the restaurant, and without knowing, a friend was also there. In my way out I was praying really hard for a another great friend that is in the hospital. Then I felt something off on my car, I got out, I had a flat tire. But by going out I locked myself out of the car. A friend helped me to call AAA since my phone was inside. Then while waiting there 30 min a lady stop by. Do you need any help She said. Thank you my friend I said. I already called AAA. Then another car pulled over, and then another one. This time the lady told me you have been here for a while, hang in there, help is coming. Then AAA arrived. A Latino who made me smile and laugh. Then the last lady show up with a Pinapple frozen stick covered in Chocolate. This is for you, I know you have been here for a while, I hope this makes your Holidays better. She was so sweet. She was the owner of Edible arrangements in N Dale Mabry. I hugged her. I made a new friend. When my AAA was about to leave. I told the Latino guy. You can have my treat. Thats my story of the day. It honors Joe Cocker, it honors my friend in the hospital, my dad, the AAA guy, the friend who bought me lunch, the friends I encountered and the ones I didnt. I was only 14. This song never goes away from me. Enjoy! https://youtube/watch?v=bRzKUVjHkGk
