I was OBSESSED with this song back in Grade 10. I would literally listen to this song on repeat on my little MP3 player on the bus on the way to and from school. It came on my iTunes shuffle the other day and I had totally forgotten all about it. Usually when you think back on some of the songs you enjoyed in high school, youre shocked at what you used to listened to, or think to yourself, wow, those lyrics are pretty rude/suggestive, I wonder what mom and dad thought of my music, but not with this song. I used to get so wrapped up in the beauty of the strings and piano chords in this song that I would barely listen to ALL the lyrics of this song. After hearing it the other day, I took the time to better to listen to the message in this song. This song is a great reminder of what a beautiful world this would be, if we could just try a little harder to live in peace, with a common love and understanding for mankind as well as mother nature
