I was asked,by a young man, the other day, what i meant by medicine ? I said , it is a word, which I use often, and it is a mixture of two ingredients, mostly, power and intent, Medicine is the most powerful force in the universe, power alone cannot do it, nor intent, medicine is a silent stream, connecting, and flowing in everthing, especially different for each and every world. Power alone is disorder, intent is the secret power in the disorder, and together it makes Medicine.....the sacred order, of life, and creation. Medicine is that, which regenerates, heals , adds healthfulness, is everthing that prevents death, that which cures the condition . Medicine, is vital to life, and comes in many forms.... So I told him a legend, because I also do that often, im not a Pope, scientist, or a guru, im a spiritual man, a human being, that was made a storyteller. I dont debate, or claim to have any special knowledge, im just me. I use my own mixture of words, and terms, I dont follow after another mans revelation. Ive studied books, listened to prophets, men of expansive thought, and bright ideas that think they are wiser that their parents and all the ancestors, ...I have found, there is little to learn, from men, such as these. Here is my legend, about the topic. . One day, the creator, gazed upon a no one knows if he, spoke a list, then blew a kiss or made a wish....as he made the infinite boom. From that single event, all the power of the universe, till now, and forever, was created, changing forms and expanding. In the same moment, all the power of the universe, was released into space. Every intention, that would ever be. Every knowledge that, would be needed, every question was filled, every notion of thought, was cast into darkness. Now there is light. It was that solute mixture, of power and intention that made the stars, together, it turned chaos into cosmos. Mixing gods intent, with enormous power, created , this enormous gift. The same elixir made the earth, and all we need, the sky, the sea, the spotted dream........ All that power.... came with a cause, it came for you and me..... This elixir, of power and intent, is what I call Medicine. Everything in creation was made of power and intent, everything has a purpose, and a Medicine, to a be released. There is, a sharing of Medicine, when forces and intentions interlace, like the way wolves work, together. The cactus, sun and earth, work in unison, in a harmonic state. A spiritual man, stripped of dilemmas, domestication, and fettered thought, is able to see his true essence, his Medicine. Slowly his spirits power, and purpose in life, weave together, revelations not from flesh and bone, but of spirit, help him find his place.
