I was at the public tap to get some water. It was the turn of a water vendor, a boy. As usual, I would have intimidated him to fetch mine & leave. But today, I insisted on what is right & waited for my turn. I wanted to experience what it would be like to patiently wait, even when the boy expected me to take advantage of his position. I had other pressing needs but vehiminently refused to oppress the boy. In the end I was victorious. After 1 & half hours he finished & it was my turn. My reward? I felt proud of myself. Also, & I am able to tell you this story today.
