I was given the number 8. Like my post, and Ill give you a number. #1. I suffer from ichthyophobia. #2. I was named after my great-uncle Dudley (and his niece, my mother). #3. My middle name, which I had always assumed was in honor of my paternal grandmother, Anna Jacobson Beck, was actually the name of the Russian violinist my father courted in college. #4. Ive never had a traffic ticket. #5. I have always wanted to play Maria in The Sound of Music. #6. I was very upset when an A- in one course in grad school ruined my perfect grade point. #7. I was married at 19. #8. After my last child was born, I suffered three miscarriages.
