I was having conversation With God but temptation Took control of my mind While my religion discussing my options I was running out of choices Making poor decisions Feel hopeless And poorless I was watching stars Sleeping my dodge car Homeless With no money No help from family Barely gas to search for a employment But they wasnt hiring So now Im still in line of the unemployment Looking desperately for a work I had work But they wouldnt hire me In their company Because Im African American But I could never because Im only human If only they would understand I am a black man Hunger for a success Not starving in stress Just willing with my heart & soul to succeed To the best of strength courage faith & ability To be known as a man Not of color, but as human To be recognize as a hardworking And remembered as someone who came up from something to nothing Losing hope and faith Even when I was in hate Picking up the pieces on the bottom Just to rise up to the top Looking for a real sign Of prayer redemption & forgiveness. Please remember me I was like you I had it all And then I fail Never giving up Is a blessing It is a sign from God Saying you are more than a nobody You are a somebody. #ATripBackToRevelation 12.25.2014
