Random DirecTV customer of the day: Mr Smith: Why does my tv look fuzzy? I though DirecTV was supposed to have the best picture? Me: We do have the best HD picture, but you ordered an SD receiver, and its running through your VCR, which makes the picture even worse. Mr Smith: I need it hooked to my VCR so I can record shows. It would also be nice if I didnt have to keep the entertainment center door open when I watch tv. Me: You could always upgrade to a Genie, which would solve all of your issues. Mr Smith: How much would all that cost? Me: As a long standing customer, you are eligible for a free Genie upgrade, and to add the HD and DVR services would only cost $15 more per month. I have the equipment on my truck, I could install it for you right now. Mr Smith: Thats too much, Ill just stick with what Ive got. Me: (smh in silence) Have a nice day sir.
