I was listening to Paper 3 on the way to work today, and figured something out. No doubt the next Paper (or the next or the next) will clear up any errors I made! One of the reasons (and Im sure there are many more) we cant perceive God in our finite state is the inherent difference between our finite-ness and His infinite-ness. We have boundaries, primarily represented by our material bodies, but also by our personality. Additionally, our minds are bounded, even though theyre a circuit on loan from the Creative Spirit. They dont normally extend into the minds of others. To communicate, we must bring our boundaries into contact, one way or another. God, on the other hand, is not limited in this way. In fact, Hes not limited any way, at all, except when He wants to limit Himself. It is literally true, even though we cant perceive it, that He is everywhere, simultaneously. He is present in every place, every planet, every universe at the same time. His omnipresence begins at the the Isle of Paradise, the perfection of creation, where he resides, and extends outward infintely, encompassing every populated universe, even ours, the lowliest of of ascendant mortal creation. In fact, Gods infinity encompasses the Unqualified Absolute, the potential space from which all of the future universes of time and space will come. No matter how large the Master Universe becomes, in all of future eternal time, Gods infinity will always be greater than that. But how do you relate to a being that is everywhere, all the time, diffused throughout all of the known (and even unknown) cosmos? Thats the hard part. Being a person, and personality ourselves, its exceedingly difficult to conceive of, or relate to a being that is more than just a personality, more than a person. For us, its nearly impossible to perceive his always-everywhere-ness, his infinity. So, he expresses Himself in personal ways. He is God the Universal Father, God the Eternal Son and God the Infinite Spirit. Together, these expressions create the Paradise Sons (of whom Michael is a member). Through the Paradise Sons, the lower orders of beings can actually perceive Him. If you behold a Paradise Son, you have beheld God, because the Father, quite literally, is in the Son. Of course none of us living have seen Christ Michael, but we can understand his expression of God. In Michaels humanness, and through his life, we can discover his expression of God, as it was conditioned, modified and customized for our time- and space-bound place in the cosmos. And by doing what Michael did, by communing with God, we too can have an experience of Him, and live with Him, even in our finite existence.
