I was raised in the Church of God and some will be offended, but I am keeping it real. When I asked for help from the Church that my parents were members of over 60 years and I was there until my 40s, not one person offered any assistance. I was told there was no benevolent fund. THEN one of the Sister Holier Than Thou members told me that she had the gift of discernment and that something someone had told her about me and Anaka was the truth. This woman who people regard as a fine Christian woman wouldnt even pray for us. SO...we will NEVER attend a Church of God because my gift of discernment tells me to stay away from fake people that pretend all is well when you are in Church and tithing and hitting that offering plate, but dont ask ANY of them for help and this includes family that are members (of course since I am adopted, maybe Im not really family) so take that gift of discernment and sit on it and spin. Id rather be humble and helping people that need it than sitting on a pew in a $200 dress living a millionaire lifestyle on the lake and faking it at Church. This same woman walked by my Mother for over 3 years when I was able to take Mother to Church because she had to be in a wheelchair, so discern that. Organized religion is a lie! Plain and Simple! I believe in the Holy Bible, but I wont sit and pretend, shake hands and smile while they stab me in the back every chance they can. Lots going to be surprised when it all goes down!! Thats my gift of discernment! Not one person called when I had the triple bypass or the stents, again there are family members there. DISCERN THAT! My phone number remains the same 865-314-2776
