I was supposed to get rest while on board on the bus going to Davao city with my wife then a man came over and preached the gospel. I heard the conductor murmured saying” here he is again, using the word of GOD for their financial collections. I quietly listened and observed and after he preached he approached every passenger for the offering then moved out . That scenario bothered me and I wanted to approach that man but my wife stopped me. I just wanted to ask that man in what verse written in the bible that the preacher should collect an offering anywhere he could have been preached? There’s no question about the offering in the church because in Luke 20:25 GOD said Then give back to Caesar what is Caesars, and to God what is Gods. The offering should be in church but not in anywhere because it creates doubts to the people and bad impression will come to their mind that the word of GOD is being preached by pastors just for money collection purposes..It’s like you are transacting papers that is must be done in the office of the government to be transparent but not in any place. I am a member of a certain Pentecostal church but it is so disappointing on my part that because of this practices, “ tingin ng mga tao, mga pastor ay nangogotong gamit ang salita ng DIYOS sa mga bus! From the word offering, meaning let people to give without asking them because if you will bless the people through the gospel your shared, then people will offer you something voluntarily. I am telling you my friends that the word of GOD is intended for us to encourage to come to GOD and repent but not to force us to give an offering or tights. GOD BLESS YOU!
