I was tagged by the phenomenal John Fortin to share 3 things each day for the next 5 days that I am grateful for. Ill be up in Algonquin for days 4 and 5, so Ill have to post some extras until Sunday... 1. My man, Michael Smith, for being a never ending source of unconditional love and support. Hes the rock that keeps this crazy, yogi, free spirit grounded... Most of the time... ;) Almost 10 years later and I still love him more and more everyday! 2. The entire PYC community for completely changing my life and the way I look at the world. The teachers training was mind-blowing and I cant even put into words the impact it had on my entire existence. Special shoutout and unending love to my yoga muses Kinndli McCollum, Jackie Hougham, Sita Kacker, Pauline Caballero, Denise Desrochers, Monica Mallo and Marianne Jezerinac for their passion, support and general fantasticalness... Jackie especially... If it werent for that one fateful yoga class she taught me who knows where I would be today... 3. My new found soul sisters Ewa Mendez, Eryl Hannah, Lindsay Hogg, Ann OBrien, Courtney Newman, Dionne Baker, Kyla Ellen... Ok, too many to list; basically the entire #wolfpack for being too amazing.. Didnt expect to leave the teachers training with so many new friends. 4. My amazing job and the freedom it gives me. So blessed to be enjoying life to the fullest and making my own schedule. 5. Nature!!! We live in a country with one of the most stunning natural landscapes at our backdoor. Nothing more soothing than paddling a lake in Northern Ontario, cooking over the fire and staring up at the stars. Cant mention my passion for the great outdoors without expressing my love and appreciation for Lani Warsh, my backcountry inspiration and general kind soul that gives herself to the world expecting nothing in return. Miss you... Lao is too far away! 6. One more, but definitely not last... My family!!! My mom, Lee Perry Murdoch for loving and supporting me like no one else. My cuz Jamie Perry Ferrell for being an inspiration always and forever. My pops Douglas Perry for being just about the coolest grandpa you could wish for (he even texts, emojis and all). All my family down South, Anna Perry, Amie Perry, Martha Perry, Jim Perry. Love isnt a strong enough word to express what these people all mean to me. Phew...
