I couldnt believe it! We arent voting for a king- we are voting for people who are supposed to represent us and our values in the governance of our state and in our local government. This is not unlike the choosing of representatives by the early Hebrews after they left Egypt, in Exodus 18:13-27. Voting is a right and a duty, not something to be considered so lightly.
