I was thinking of Camp Camp this morning an the summer i volunteered. It was life changing... My Camp Camp camper was Juan he was 6 an had Cerebal Palsy, blind, an confined to a wheel chair with a feeding tube... I fed him, changed his diaper, an sleep in a bunk bed above him at night...we were insepratable.. This was not easy because i didnt get any sleep Juan cried an moaned through the night.. I comforted him all night to get him to sleep... I am thankful to Mrs Ferguson my high schools director of H.O.S.A for believing in me enough to sign me up for this opportunity to care for someone like Juan...these are memories that stay with you, an humble you... I am blessed...
