I was thinking of what to do to not discourage new or young racers from coming back. I suggest 2 different races. A IHRA class for your beginners, novice and advance racers. Only restriction would be house controllers only. These racers race together where the winner gets 3 pts, runner-up 2 pts and semi finalist get 1 pt each. Once a racer obtains 6 points, they will advance a class. Once the advance racer reaches 6 pts they will no longer be able to race in the IHRA race. Your second race would be called NHRA. This race would be open to anyone from beginners to expert racers.
