I was to appear on the Dr. Phil show....IF the other ppl that contributed to the disappearance/murder/hiding of remains of my son Colton would also agree to appear...my first thought was, why in the world would they ever agree to be put on the spot on natl TV??? then i got caught up in the excitement, then when i was told they wouldnt sign the booking agreement, i went through a bit of depression.... CBS TELEVISION DISTRIBUTION (“Producer”) 5555 Melrose Avenue Hollywood, CA 90038 BOOKING AGREEMENT The following is my agreement to appear on Dr. Phil (the Series) on the date(s) indicated below or on such other date(s) determined by Producer subject to my availability (singularly and collectively, the “Episode”): APPEARANCE DATE: 1. I represent to you that in the past ninety days, I have not been interviewed by or appeared on a television talk show. I further represent and warrant that I will not be interviewed by or appear on ANY CABLE OR BROADCAST TELEVISION TALK, VARIETY OR TV NEWSMAGAZINE SHOW, including but not limited to: THE MEREDITH VIEIRA SHOW, THE QUEEN LATIFAH SHOW, THE TALK, WENDY WILLIAMS, MAURY, 48Hrs., PRIMETIME LIVE, DATELINE, 60 MINUTES, 20/20, INSIDE EDITION, EXTRA, GOOD MORNING AMERICA, TODAY, CBS THIS MORNING, and any program airing on CNN, FOX NEWS CHANNEL, MSNBC or CNBC, until such time as the Episode of the Series on which I appear is initially broadcast, or ninety days from the date my appearance in the Episode is taped before an audience, whichever first occurs. 2. I understand that: (a) I will be advised of travel information and arrangements and additional details regarding the Episode taping schedule by telephone, mail and/or facsimile; (b) my appearance is subject to cancellation or postponement by the Producer at any time for any reason without recourse; and (c) I will be required to sign your Program Appearance Release and such other releases (the “Releases”) as you may request before the taping of the Episode, and I warrant that I will sign the Releases as needed. 3. I agree to reimburse, indemnify and hold harmless Producer, CBS Studios Inc., Peteski Productions, Inc., Dr. Phillip C. McGraw and/or their respective affiliated organizations, employees, licensees, agents, successors and assigns from and against any and all costs, expenses and liabilities which they may incur, including but not limited to, all production and travel costs incurred by them, as a result of my breach of any representations and warranties contained herein and/or if I fail or refuse to appear at the taping of the Episode without good cause. 4. In signing this release, no promises have been made to me other than as set forth herein, and I have not relied on any representations or other statements that are not contained herein. I further agree that no oral agreements or amendments are binding on Producer unless and until reduced to writing and signed by a duly authorized officer of Producer. 6. I acknowledge and agree that this agreement shall be deemed made and performed in Los Angeles, California, whose substantive laws shall govern and whose courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute relating to this agreement.
