I was up most of the night with severe stomach pains. I aint got time for this. : ) Im meeting with the ladies today in regards to getting the grant for Trishas Treasures. Im excited to see what is next in this new life after cancer. I also spoke with the social worker at The Breast Center, She is excited. The lady she needs to speak to hasnt been in so waiting on that call. She said she would like to do something for May 1st. I cant wait to see the ladies faces when they receive there blessing. Hoping to bring a little bit of joy in the midst of a really crappy situation. There are ladies that donate knitted hats but I would like to buy more fashionable hats, scarves, earrings etc. I spent over 1 1/2 yrs there and learned a lot about the needs of others and because Im a giver I found it hard not to help but now I can give back and you cant even imagine how good it feels. I know the main focus is beating cancer but feeling like a woman after losing your hair breasts, gain/lose weight is also important for the mental side of cancer. There are many women who have had to stop working cause of being sick but still have bills to pay. I would like to help with food baskets and help with buying clothes that may be needed cause of weight changes. So many ideas and ready to go.
