I was watching CNN who had a panel discussing the difference between how the younger demographic views the Isreal/Palestine situation versus how the older demographic views it. One of the panelist said that the young generation is spiritual but not religious and depend on social media to keep informed on current events unlike the older generation who watches news, which thereby leads youths to make misinformed statements like Free Palestine. He went on to say that we are a spiritual generation but misinformed and have not the slightest clue as to what is really going on. my response to that may not get the international coverage that his statement did, however I feel compelled to share my thoughts regardless. Ill keep it short and sweet. Most conflicts in my generation have been started by old men and fought by the young. I prefer to be spiritual and campaign for peace than be informed and taking sides. Love conquers all.
