I welcome you specially to todays episode of QUIET TIME. And I pray the Lord will give us the Grace for effectual communication in JESUS NAME. Text: James 5:16-18;16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. 17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. 18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit. Topic: On the wings of life,what makes you fly while others are crawling? Word of exhortation: They are mainly two categories of people in the body of Christ. Viz;the spiritually hot,and the spiritually cold. Those who are spiritually hot are those who can cause a turn around for themselves,and even for others. Whereas the spiritually cold ones depend solely on their pastor for prayer and direction. In the body of Christ,even body that is redeemed by Christ,automatically qualifies to communicate with God. They are certain factors that determine the extent of your communication with God almighty. From our bible passage for today, it is clear,that Elijah was a man who had the same passion for change like we are,and he prayed earnestly,and God answered his prayers. So it is earnest prayers that God answers. The prayer coming from the deepest part of your heart,because it is only deep that connects to the deep. So many people ponder over their problem,pretending to be praying,God answers prayers that is coming from the HEART. Is there any area of your life that you desire a turn around?I like you to go to God in prayers,showing great passion and commitment in your prayer room,because it is your passion that connects you to your possession,pray with all fervency,and the God that answers prayers will hearken unto you this morning. God is the I am that I am,so he has all it takes to get your demands done,so get connected,and recover all in Jesus name. Prayer: father,thank you for today,receive praise for all you have done. Give me the grace for effectual communication in Jesus name. Today,God will favor you,and cause his light to shine upon you,He will bless you,and establish you in Jesus Name. Amen.
