I went grocery this afternoon...5 different grocery stores - got some great deals. And before someone thinks I wasted a bunch of gas doing this, these stores are all within a 10 minute drive of me. Anyway, came home in the pouring rain and was getting my groceries out of the Jimmy when I heard a vehicle driving in the yard. Now, we live a ways back off the road and the house is mostly hidden from view and I knew it wasnt anyone I new because we have a big circular driveway and they came in the wrong way on it. So I am standing in the pouring rain beside the Jimmy and a well dressed man gets out of a nice SUV and starts towards me. I give him my icy stare and he says I have an invitation for you and shoves a piece of paper in my hand. I am not cluing in yet, remember I have just been to 5 grocery stores and am tired...then he says its an invitation to the memorial for our savior Jesus Christ Now, I seriously do not care what religion you do or do not practice, I truly dont, but DO NOT COME IN MY YARD AND TRY AND PUSH YOURS ON ME! I gave him my best oh mister you just poked the mama grizzly bear stink eye and said Really!!?? Needless to say, he beat a hasty retreat! Note to self: its Saturday, and you KNOW if someone drives in yard in fancy car wearing a fancy suit and has a child or two with them it isnt someone looking for directions...Just sayin
