I went to bed with news of Phil Heydes passing and I thought, no, probably just a joke, but this morning I quickly learned that it was true. For those who didnt know or barely knew Brother Phil, he was the true embodiment of a brother in Phi Gamma Delta. He lived by everything we strive for and represent. As a brother, friend and mentor, he was always there when I needed help. Whenever I got in a bind, he dropped what ever he was doing and spend his time to help me out. It was his persistence and determination that helped and me and the chapter thrive through the years. The kind and gentleman that would always buy you lunch, a beer, dinner, or all of the above and expect nothing in return, but a good conversation. Thanks for being a friend. RIP Brother Phil Heyde
