I went to church tonight (Stone Ridge), and it was actually really good. Dale preached, and he was awesome! If Id known he was gonna be that good, I wouldve taken notes. Unlike, probably most preachers today, Dale tells it like it is, and will step on your toes, if need be (hmmm, I wonder if hes related to Joyce Meyer). As he was preaching, Im sitting back in my seat thinking, hed be GREAT at Water at Wine (my church in Moncton). He said alot, but he said two things inparticular that was probably better than anything else. He said that we need to ask God to show us any sin that is in us (maybe a sin that we dont even know about). He was saying that we needed to repent of that sin, and as he was saying that, I was sitting back there thinking (and praying); but I was thinking that we need to ask GOD to SHOW us anything that is in us that shouldnt be there. And I was thinking that we need to TRUELY repent of our sin because if God doesnt show us what it is, then were just gonna go right back doing it thinking that its ok. The second thing he said that was that we needed to get back to our first love. He obviously said a whole lot more about this, and I really wish I wouldve taken notes, but I didnt.
