I went to see my butcher yesterday to talk about ordering leaf lard for rendering. He didnt have any in stock and will have to acquire it or me. Here is the question. How much do I reasonably want? I have never rendered it before and without having it directly in front of me to say this much is a lb, I find Im at a loss as to how to guess. My CI is thirsty and is looking forward to being happily bathed in this stuff.
