I will Love You Forever (A short story ) Modern High School, New Delhi, first day of the new session. Everyone was excited about their new classes, books, etc. Shubha was in his class, XI B. He was seating on the teachers chair for fun, and was acting like a teacher. The rest of the class was seating on their seat, and behaving seriously. Then a sweet voice came from the door, Excuse me Sir, and is this class XI B. Shubha turned towards the gate. He was stunned, a very beautiful girl was standing there, and she was asking innocently. He replied, Yes, what do you want? She said, Sir, Im a new girl. May I come in? He replied, Yes, for sure. She came in. He asked her, Whats your name? Sanaya” she replied. Ok, you may take your seat. Then teacher came, and he fled to his seat in hurry. Everybody burst into laughter, Sanaya got confused and irritated. Her first day in this school had started in this way. Shubha was a very intelligent and handsome guy. He was school topper in class X board. Everybody likes him, and most of the girls want to make out with him. His home town was Patna, but he lived in New Delhi since his childhood. Sanaya was a very beautiful girl, she also came from Patna, but she moved here just as his Papa was transferred to New Delhi. She was also the school topper in her last school, St. Josephs Academy. She was so beautiful that no guy can resist himself to see her. She had beautiful blue eyes, long brown hair, pink lips, long smooth legs, narrow waist, and an innocent smile, enough to make any guy crazy. Everyone in the class was impressed by her beauty, and searching for any single chance to talk with her. On the first day she became most popular. Shubha was also amazed by her; he was not removing his eye from her even for a single moment. Suddenly teacher asked him a question. He stood and replied nothing, but asked, Sir, what was the question? Where was your mind? Everyone burst into laughter, she also laughed on him. He saw that and became happy. He sat and thought, What a killer smile she had! ***** One day during the lunch time he was seating in the class with his friends. One of his friends was narrating some dirty joke and everyone was laughing on it. Then she turned towards them annoyingly. So he stopped his friend, and went to his seat to study silently. He fell in love with her, but fear to tell her. He always used to see her secretly. ***** One day he was watching TV in his home, the door bell rang. He went to open the door. And to his surprise, she was standing on his door with a lady. Then his Mom came out of the kitchen to see who had come. She recognized them and invited them to come in. The lady was her Mom. They were their neighbor in their home town, and their families know each other very well. He did not believe on his eyes, was he dreaming! No, it was real! They all settled down there in the sofas. Then their Moms came to know that both were reading in the same school, so his Mom advised him to take her to his room. He stood up and asked her if she want to come. She nodded. So he took her to his room, while their Moms were talking with each other. His room was so messed up, just like any other boy. Laptop was on the bed, in running mode. All books were scattered on the table, clothes were kept here and there, some on the bed, some on the floor. He got ashamed on himself for the condition of his room. He started to keep everything in the right place hurriedly. She stopped him and started to manage his room. And within minutes his room was looking so neat and clean. Girls are so good at it, which a boy can never do.” he thought. Why did you fooled me that day?” she asked Sorry I will forgive you only when you promise me to show the whole city. Promise, but you will have to be my friend first. And he forwarded his right hand to shake with her. Both of them had a hand- shake. After that both of them had a long conversation, about their previous school- life, movies, songs, novels, how their friends had girlfriends and boyfriends, all other stuffs. They also argued for their favorite films. He said, 3 Idiots is the best. She said, No, My Name Is Khan is the best. It seems that they were the childhood friends. Then her Mom called her to go home. So she bid her good bye, and told that not to forget the promise. He nodded. She left for her home. ***** The next day Shubha went to the school. He sat there with Sanaya. They had lunch together. They were gossiping too much in the class, and caught by the Chemistry teacher. He kicked both of them out of the class. Both of them had a lot of talks even outside the class. They had a great day in the school. When they were leaving for their home, Shubha asked Sanaya, May I drop you to the home? You will enjoy the ride. Okay, it would be so nice of you. It would be my pleasure to drop a beautiful girl on my bike. They moved towards the parking lot. He told her to wait for a minute. Then he went to take his bike, the black Yamaha R15. He returned in a while, and asked her to get on the bike. She said, Cool bike! He dropped her at her home, and said, Do you want to go on a ride with me in the evening? She nodded. Then they bid good bye to each other, and he left for his home. That evening he went to her home on his bike. She came out; she was in a black dress. She was looking super. Then they went to roam on the roads of Delhi to explore the whole city. She was seating behind her holding his waist. He felt so good. They went to an ice-cream parlor, and had their favorite choco-mint flavor ice-cream. While eating it she got some of it on her nose. She was looking so beautiful on having it on her nose, and her beautiful pink lips were smeared with brown color. She was looking hot. He was staring at her. She asked, What are you looking at? He said, You have ice-cream on your nose. She cleared her nose and looked innocently. He was crazy for her innocent face. She was still having some ice-cream on her nose. You still have some of it there let me clear it.” he said, and cleared her nose. ***** They started to go school together. Shubha went to Sanayas home daily to pick her up for the school. They went together and came together on his bike. They became the best of the best friends. But he still loved her immensely, and she thought him as her best friend. Everyone in their class was jealous of both, girls were jealous to Sanaya, and boys were jealous of Shubha. Even after the school, they spent hours on BB messaging, FB chat, phone calls with each other, even day or night. But he still fears to tell her about his feelings for her. ***** One day they went to PVR Cinemas to watch the movie Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I. After watching the movie they went to a park. They were seating on the bench and having the casual conversation. He was looking at her moving lips, blinking eyelid, hair strands which came in front of her face, and the way she put her behind the ears. She was looking like an angel. At once it started raining. He came out of his dream world. He started to rush under a tree, and also called her. But she stood up, closed her eyes, and started to enjoy the droplets of rain falling on her face. He looked at her wet hair, lips, and clothes. She was looking stunning beauty. The way she was dancing in the rain, the joy on her face, he felt more love for her. He came out of the shelter of the tree to enjoy the rain with her. They were dancing like mad in the rain. It seems that they were the happiest persons of the world. They forgot about the rest of the world. Suddenly her feet slipped, she felled on him, and both felled down. He was holding her waist. Their faces were just few inches away from each other. They could feel the warmth of each other breath. She closed her eyes shyly. He brought his face closer to her. He also closed his eyes. His lips could feel the softness of her lips. They ended up with kissing each other like true lovers. After few minutes they got separated. But it seems like so many minutes. When you will kiss someone, the time would be like crawling. She felt embarrassing; she couldnt look in his eyes. The rain was stopped till then. They returned to their home. In the way they didnt talk anything. In the night Shubha wasnt feeling sleepy. He messaged her, Sorry for what happened in the park. I want to talk to you. Please! Sanaya was lying on her bed, thinking about the todays incident. Suddenly her phone beeped. She got the message from him; she read it and called him. Hello” she said. Hello, I wasnt feeling sleepy, so I want to talk to you.” he replied from the other side. I wasnt also feeling sleepy. I want to tell you something. What? Should I tell you that thing? If you dont going to tell me then I will end the call. Oh God! Its so hard to propose any girl. I just want to tell you that....., how I could tell that! I am going to end the call. No, please wait. I am telling you. He took a deep breath and said, I LOVE YOU. I love you too, stupid. He took a sigh of relief. It seems that he had conquered the whole world. They said good bye to each other, exchanged a kiss on the phone, and ended the call. ***** It was Valentines Day, the day of love. Shubha woke up late because he was talking with Sanaya up to morning, then he went to sleep. A party was organized in their school tonight. He was very excited as he could take his girlfriend with him for the first time. In the evening, he got ready. He took much more time than usual. He wore a black suit, in which he was looking dashing. He started his bike and moved towards her home to pick her up. On the way, he bought a lovely red rose. When he reached her home, she came out in a red hot gown. Anybody would chew his fingers on seeing her. He didnt believe on his eyes, she was looking the most beautiful girl. Youre looking so gorgeous.” He said, and gave the rose to her and said, A lovely rose to the most beautiful rose of the world. I love you. She smiled innocently, the killer smile for which he was totally crazy. She took the rose and said, Thank you, and I love you too. You too are looking like Robert Pattinson. Then they moved towards the school. He was very happy; the most beautiful girl was seating with her and holding him tightly. He was in his own dream world. Suddenly a car came from other side and banged his bike. ***** When he opened his eyes he found himself in a hospital. He had some bandage around his hand and his forehead. He didnt get severe injuries as he was wearing the helmet. His parents were around him. Where is Sanaya?” he asked to his parents. Beta, she is in ICU. She had severe injuries. But dont worry, she will be well soon.” her Mom replied. He got up from the bed. His Papa stopped him. But he didnt listen and said, Papa, I just want to see her once.” and went to see her. As he reached the ICU, the nurse stopped him to enter. He saw her through the glass in the door. She had so many bandages throughout her body, a pipe was attached to her nose, and so many wires were attached to her body. Beside her bed there was a monitor which was showing so many number and graphs on it. He only understood that graph was showing her heart-beat, rest of the numbers passed over his head. The doctor came, he turned towards him. Doctor said, The CT Scan report said that Sanaya had internal hemorrhage and some extra-dural hemorrhage. Her condition is very critical. We are unable to say anything. She needs an operation immediately. Her Papa said to him, Do anything, but please save my child. Then the doctor left for the preparation of the operation. Her parents were in a great dilemma. Their only child was suffering from the worst pain. Shubha felt guilty for them, because of him they were losing their child. Shubha was totally shocked. He went to his mother, who was seating on a bench. He put his head in her lap and said, I am the cause of her condition. I was not paying attention to the traffic. He started to cry bitterly. Everything will be fine, believe in God.” she said. Why is God doing this to me? What had I done wrong to anyone?” he said. She was been taking to the OT. He went to the doctor and said, Please save her, doctor. Doctor said, We will do whatever we can do to save her, but everything is not in our hand. It had been three hours since she had taken to the OT. Everybody was tensed and afraid. Then the doctor came out. Her father asked him, What happened doctor? Is she out of danger now? We couldnt say anything; we are not sure about her. It will take 72 hours to see her progress.” doctor said, and left. Everybody broke into tears. ***** It had been three days but Sanaya didnt show any sign of improvement. Shubha was always praying to God to get her well. But it seems that God wasnt listening to him. He always went to her to talk with her, but she was not listening to him. But he was hoping that she was listening to him, and she would wake up and hug him tightly. Everybody was seating outside the ICU. Then doctor came and said that her condition was worsening, they must have to perform an operation on her quickly once again. His fear got increased for losing her. He started to cry, and went to her. He entered the ICU; she was still laying their motionless. He went to her bed, and sat on the chair which was beside of it. He held her hand and said, Sorry, Shona. I am responsible for all your condition. I couldnt live on seeing you in this condition. Please forgive me and wake up. Just talk to me once. But she didnt reply to him. He stated to cry. He said, Oh God, please save her. What was her fault? I am responsible for her condition. Please take my life in lieu of her. He felt some movement in her hand. At once, he felt some dizziness in his brain, everything was blurring around his eyes. He got faint and fell on the floor. ***** Shubha and his parents were seating in the doctors office. Doctor was holding an MRI report in his hand. He said to his parents, He had a brain tumor in its final stage. Shubha was seating silently behind them. His parents went silent; no words were coming to their mind what to say. Doctor asked, Had anything happened to him earlier? His Papa recalled and said, Same thing happened to him when he was in class IV, but we had ignored it totally. Its my great regret to say you, but there is very little chance to keep your son alive. But we will try our level best.” doctor said. His Mom burst into tears, and got out of the doctors office. He stood up and silently went towards the gate. When he got out of it, his Mom came and hugged her, and they started to cry. He was feeling sorry for his parents. How would they live if he died? His Papa came out after sometime. His face was expressionless. He went to see Sanaya. Her operation was completed, but now she was in comma. He went near her and said so many things to her. But as usual she was not able to reply him. His only wish was to talk to her at least once before he died. He wished to see that innocent smile on her face again. He wanted to kiss her soft pink lips for the last time. He want to hug her tightly and never let her go. He was praying to God to fulfill his wish. ***** The doctor said him that they should have to perform an operation on him. He went to meet her before the operation. He prayed to god to wake her up from that long sleep so they could have a conversation. He went near her and sat down on her bed and said, Hi Shona, please wake up and talk to me. She was still lying motionless and expressionless. Okay, if you dont want to talk to me, its fine. I am going to have an operation but when I will open my eyes, I want to see you first with that innocent smile on your face. You must have to be well before that. And dont be worry for me, I will be fine. Our love story had started yet. I want to play this Holi with you, even all the next Holi. Our marriage is to be happen. You will wear a beautiful pink lehenga. All my friends will be jealous of me for having the most beautiful wife of the world. We will have two kids, Tamanna and Ayushman. Take care of yourself, I will be back soon.” he said then he kissed her on the forehead, and left for his operation. ***** When Sanaya opened her eyes, she saw her parents, Shubhas parents, doctor, nurse, but Shubha was missing. How stupid he is. How could he not be here on that great moment?” she thought. Everybody was looking happy, but they had some pain behind it. Why are they not looking so happy? Something is wrong.” she thought. She asked her Mom, Why all of you are looking sad? What is wrong? Where is Shubha? Her Mom hugged her and started to cry. She didnt understand anything. She was not ready for any worst to be happened. She asked, Why are you crying? Why is anyone not telling me that what had happened? Her Papa said, Shubha is no more. No, this couldnt be happen.
