I wish someone will prove me wrong on this please. Real Men Do Cry...YES! A lot of males brag about not remembering the last time they cried. To me, Such peeps aint human, cos shedding tears is a human trait. Tears are a sign of strength not weakness, And its ok to cry when u get emotional or when ure deeply hurt. Ive found myself in situations where I felt like breaking down, only for someone to quickly whisper to me “Don’t cry, you’re not a man”. Or “Don’t cry, don’t cry, wait until you get to somewhere private.” In tradition it is not accepted as men are perceived or should be strong emotionally and physically, and girls are expected to be soft,nice and emotional. I believe its a double standard. Ive seen men cry and I dont judge them. Why dont you think its okay for men to cry especially when they are hurt really bad? Its ok for men to be expressive with their feelings. Men are human creatures, right? Why wouldnt they cry? At some point in their life, they will cry. Heck, you are born into this life crying. Even Jesus wept and we are made in the image of Him. Ladies, never settle for a man that is not in touch with his emotions and isnt afraid to show them sometimes. That means he doesnt love and trust you enough to show his true self in your presence....such a man wouldnt show any form of emotion when ure in pain. He wouldnt share in your grief!
