I witnessed a remarkable scene on way to work this morn. At a stop light, saw a crow land on boulevard grass with a full bread slice in mouth. It stood on bread with one foot and pecked slice. Then it picked up slice, hopped down to puddle of water by curb and tossed in slice. The crow turned slice over so both side got wet. Picked it up. Returned to grass. More pecking. Tore off a big piece. Returned to puddle. Dunked bread chunk several more times. Horns honked behind me. I nearly missed my green light!!
