I wonder what the media’s response would have been if George W. Bush had issued a $93 Million, no-bid contract that has ballooned to over $600 Million, to a foreign (Canadian) company that has failed several times in the past to do this for Canada and has had multiple contracts cancelled for non-performance?!? Wonder who received a significant portion of that $600,000,000?!? How does a President go from a $1,000,000 net worth when he took office to over a $16,000,000 net worth on a salary of $500,000 per year?!? Do you think the media would be checking into any of this if it was a Republican President? What do you think the media’s response would have been if Bush’s press secretary had walked out of a daily briefing when the questions started getting tough (finally!)? One last thing, kudos to Jon Stewart and David Letterman for finally opening their eyes!
