I would assume that most of us, little people, are pretty much fed up with the hate and stupidity that we see, continually. Wondering whatever happened to being able to have a different opinion, to have a different belief, to be able to disagree without being drawn and quartered by some unbelieveable bat out of hell. We are sick of seeing news programs that not only show a world that seems to have slipped over the edge, but local areas, communities, neighborhoods, that have done the same. We find each other, sitting, a bit numb to one murder, one theft, one travesty after another leaving us with more of a desire to hide out, be quiet, and find an invisibility that will keep us hidden from the whack jobs who threaten our peace. After all, what can we do about it anyway. We have no power, no influence, and to be truthful, we dont really want to have it-----we want to live in peace, be happy, stay sane. It is frustrating, to say the least. Granted, that is all fine and dandy, that burying your head in the sand. One drawback though, is that while you have your head buried, your bum is sticking up in the air like a great temptation to every pick pocket that comes along. So what do you do about it----other than sit and complain? There is one thing. Be Kind. Be the person you would like other people to be. Control your own temper---your own mouth. Be understanding, forgiving, empathetic----or at least make the effort to be. If each of us, would do our little part, what an improvement we could see. We have to start somewhere. Throwing out our own garbage is something we all can do.
