I would be the last to say that the music of my age was the best. I dont want to be a member of that out of tune hoot-for-all that includes persons of each age beginning with the Jazz Age (1925-35), Age of Swing (1935-45), the Bebop Decade/R&B (1945-55), Modern Jazz/early Rock&Roll (1955-65), Experimental Jazz/Classic Rock (1965-75), Fusion Jazz/Disco/Spandex-Arena-Hair Rock/New Wave (1975-85), Retro Jazz/Rap/Hip-Hop/Grunge (1985-95), Whatever 1995-2005 was, and likewise 2005-2014. That would be stupid, although if I had to choose it would be 1925-1955, all decades before I was born in 1956. But as someone whose alma mater was Classic Rock, I say with unimpeachable authority that this was the first song by the last band to understand how *good* Classic Rock is played:
