I would like to give honor to a special group of Veterans today. The Vietnam Vets that came home to such tasteless and classless treatment. It was a different time. But many suffered not only from what they endured over there, but the nasty reception they got upon returning home. There was no; When Johnny Comes Marching Home again, Hurrah! Hurrah! They were were greeted by an ugly America who held them accountble for the atrocities of a few, and the stupidity of a government. But... thats just my opinion. I served in the Post-Vietnam era. A lot of our equipment had actually been used in Vietnam. All the good men who trained me, were men who not only learned war in a classroom, but most practiced and honed their skills on the battlefield. And yes, some of them were some messed up puppies. So yeah, I feel a closeness to this particular group of unsung heroes and mis-judged villians. Every veteran that has served, and is still serving as we speak, is due any and all honor we can bestow on them. But this goes out to all the boys who brought the noise in the jungles of Vietnam. Who loves ya baby? I do. We do. And thanks for showing us how real men do it.
