I would like to share a testimony. So I happened to work for this awesome man and his family at a golf course a couple of years ago. He is a lawyer and we scheduled a consult with him at his law office. He helped us so much to uncover things we werent even aware of. With this information gathered he directed us to another lawyer in his office. If I had to choose one word to describe her it would be FIERCE! After reviewing everything she said shed charge $7000 to start everything. So we get in our cars and drive off. I began speaking to GOD. Im going to be completely honest here. I said GOD, you know we dont have this money, you know we dont have the credit for a loan, you know NO ONE is going to just lend us that kind of money. What do you want for us to do? You see whats going on here! Why dont you do anything about it? Why is it ok with you for these children to live these lives when they dont have to? You kno what GOD, we are ok. My husband and I and our girls, we are just fine. We can afford to pay the child support and we have no problem visiting with him as it is set right now. We are GOOD, BUT he is YOUR child too! So I drove a little bit in silence. I was trying to think of HOW I was suppose to pray about this. I was trying to remember WHO I am in the eyes of GOD. I am his child. He is my father. He would do anything for me, everything he says is mine. If my father is a KING and everything belongs to him and I am his daughter and Im needing money to do everything I can to do whats right for my son who better than to ASK for this money that we are needing?!?! So I try again. I speak to GOD. GOD, thank you for blessing me with a beautiful blended family. Lord if you moved Hailey from the life she was living I know Lord that you will do the same for Jayden. I thank you that we have the money to support Jayden financially. I thank you Lord that we get to see him every single morning at school to let him know we love him, every single Thursday for 2 whole hours, and every 1st, 3rd and 5th weekend of the month. Thank you Lord that we get to show him what a family looks like. What obeying you the best we can looks like. GOD you know what we need. DAD.....I need 7000 dollars. And DAD, I know that you know whats best. I trust that your plan for Jayden is better than ours. I trust you with his life. He is also your child. I place him back into your hands. I love you, I believe in you, and I trust you This was on Monday. We didnt have to make any applications for loans. We didnt have to go around asking for money here and there. We havent had the chance to even do a fundraiser. We are not going to be in debt. But by the end of the week, we now have our money to start this process for our son. This is GOD showing us that this IS part of his plan. There would be no other way we could have gotten to this place. I hope and pray we continue to do whats right, we continue to do his work, and that his will be done in the best interest of our son JAYDEN. I would like to thank Pastor Jorge at Freedom CenterChurch. I used what you have been teaching us to speak a different prayer. Thank you for always reminding us to KNOW WHO WE ARE. Thank you for the time you spend with GOD.
