I write relatable stories because I want people to know that theyre not totally alone, that someone can actually understand, and that there are also a lot of people out there who feel the same way. We can all be alone together. I like that. Thats why I like it when my readers tell me that they can relate to my characters and their stories. Thats like saying, this is my story, too! I like that Im writing something truthful to the so-called reality, even though it is a work of fiction. I like it.
